Description
For practitioners, it’s a challenge to stay current or ahead of the curve! Change in the tax law is a virtual certainty and keeping up to date is always difficult. Congress is actively working on the extension of many provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 scheduled to otherwise expire at the end of 2025. The President has also made additional tax proposals involving tax cuts and some increases. Various Congressmen have also introduced tax legislation. This ACPEN course will include a panel of national tax practitioners and experts reviewing the latest judicial, legislative and regulatory developments affecting individuals, corporations and other business entities. They will also give the latest updates on the legislative process and try to project future developments!
Proposed changes will also affect your dealings with the IRS customer service personnel. The IRS is instituting a variety of new audit programs. More are announced regularly! The courts and the IRS continue to churn out rulings and decisions that affect your clients.
